no mas cantina review 55 +/-

Before I moved to Ghettoberry Hood, I stopped in at No Mas Cantina for lunch. The food was all right, but not spectacular.

In contrast, the dinner served up by No Mas Cantina is much tastier. The day I moved in, I met up with The Beaver and The Republican for a late supper at No Mas Cantina. I forget what they had, but I ordered Pancho’s Plate. It was zesty.

Both times I visited the restaurant, service was on the slow side. Not intolerably slothful like the Burger King on Northside Drive between Tenth and Fourteenth, but lethargic nonetheless. No Mas Cantina is recommended.

No Mas, delicioso. Here’s a review of the post office branch at the strip mall on Windy Hill and Powers Ferry. They will YELL at you.

Dinner is good stuff. The mixed fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp passed this Texan’s standards.

No mas has come a long way. Their food is so much better and service has improved ten thousand times. it’s a good addition to the neighborhood, and they have nice people, I forgot his name but the short four eyed manager is really nice.

I agree about No Mas! Cantina. When they first opened, it seemed like it was more than they could handle. My recent 4 visits were INCREDIBLE. Try the house specials… Especially the tampenquena (steak).

The food is ok, the drinks are pretty good, the server who brought out the food was good. We waited 1:45 for a table, which i understand because of the crowd, but people who came in after us that complained got a table before us. I will never go again as the hosts where pretty bad and felt like they where doing us a favor when they seated us.
