Dear people from Alabama,
Please learn to [1] spell and [2] use English properly. I realize that you are the victims of a substandard educational system and endemic poverty, but I am getting mighty sick of translating your comments into English from Country. I do appreciate your comments and I thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
People from Alabama who do speak English as a first language, please disregard this public service announcement.

Smoove,
Being a graduate of the highest education institution in the State of Alabama, I resemble that remark. I studied English (as a minor) to make sure that I would not represent UA in a bad light. However, I had friends who worked for big 6 accounting firms who would say things like “Back when he come down to my hometown….”.
On another note, I thought you only had 3 regular readers. If another one of them is from Alabama, I might be related to them.

Seth,
All the Alabama fans commenting on my Texas A&M football posts mangling sentence structure and using the wrong homonyms. Being high falutin’ and all, I edit their comments before approving them so they match the high standards of the Prizzo Skeezy.
Clay,
Thanks for taking the time to minor in English.

As a literate Alabamian, I would like to apologize for the rest of our state. We’re trying but no one wants to increase taxes to pay for better schooling.
