A few months ago, while I was busy getting loaded at an Atlanta Vinos wine tasting, my friend and recurring Propeller Skies character* Trey posed a question. The question was, “what do you think of when you hear Atlanta Jaycees?”

I thought for about a quarter of a second and responded with something resembling, “a bunch of old ladies doing charity work.”

It turns out that Trey was the new Vice President of Marketing Communications for the Atlanta Jaycees. He patiently explained what kind of organization the Jaycees are.

Over the course of the next few months, I met their president Michael at an event and ran into him at a few others. Last night, I attended their social at Loca Luna to photograph. Three words: Tons. Of. Hotties. In comparison to the recently reviewed SCIS YP event, the group was also extremely friendly and fun to hang out with. Being a hardened and cynical event photographer, it is not often that I find myself in an interesting conversation with strangers at the events. However, I hung out with the Jaycees for a couple of hours and had a great time. I recommend checking out the Atlanta Jaycees.
